What is the weight limit?

Our regular carriers have been tested to 50lbs. Our solarweave have a 35lb weight limit on them.

How long are mei tai, half buckle, and onbu straps?

Our regular length top straps are about 70". Extra long straps are about 80". Bottom straps on mei tais are about 30". Our regular sized carriers fit up to a size 16/18.

How do the straps on the buckle tai work in front and back carries?

On our buckle tai, you cross the straps in the back just as you would on a mei tai. For the back carry, we suggest wearing them backpack style. Buckle tais now include a removable chest clip!

I want to send my own fabric. How much and what kind should I send?

We ask for 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric. We will return whatever is unused to you.

I sent in my own fabric, but would like to return the carrier. Can I be reimbursed for my fabric?

No, we are very sorry, but we cannot reimburse for your fabric costs.

How long will my carrier take?

Turnaround time is typically 3-4 weeks, however, during busy times, this can extend to the 5-6 week time frame.

I loved a carrier that you had listed as a one of a kind. Can I get one made like it?

We're sorry, but one of the joys of getting a one of a kind carrier is it's exclusive. We will not recreate one of a kind carriers.

What is the size difference in regular sizing vs toddler sizing?

The toddler sizing is 2 inches taller and 2 inches wider than our normal carriers.

What are the differences in the carriers?

There are 2 main body styles and the top straps change. The mei tai and onbu have the same body style and top straps. The only difference is that the mei tai has bottom straps that tie at the waist and the onbu has rings that the top straps thread through.

The buckle tai and half buckle tai have the same structured body with seat darts and padded waistband. The top straps on the buckle tai have 17" of fabric attached to 25" of webbing. The straps buckle into the sides of the body of the carrier. The half buckle top straps are the same as the top straps of the mei tai and are tied instead of buckled.

The solarweave buckle tai has the same body of the mei tai with a lightly padded waist and top top straps that are 17" of fabric attached to 25" of webbing that buckle into the body of the carrier.
